The Grand Western Canal is just a mile away with walking and cycle path. Cycle hire is available. West Pitt Farm is perfectly positioned for walking holidays exploring the glorious coasts and countryside of Devon and Somerset and the moorland of Dartmoor and Exmoor; yet readily accessible from rail and road routes to the South West. Nearby are horse riding, golf, walking and cycling. Nearest beaches are just 20 mins away. With a dozen pubs and restaurants in the local villages there is a wide variety places to eat out.
